About the job

PURPOSE OF JOB:

  • To Assist in marketing activities and campaigns to grow Samsung Brand awareness and to drive sales;
  • Implementation, execution and communication of brand marketing plans for assigned projects and customer segments;
  • Execution of tactics to support marketing strategies;
  • Provide Marketing support through regular communication and development of promotional materials as required
  • Plan media, PR, IM and Digital Marketing in collaboration with brand teams as part of go to market strategy
  • Plan all aspects with regards to new product launches, or sell-out initiatives with specific reference to specific products;
  • Lead integrated consumer marketing plan, development and execution;
  • Build launch plans, activities and channel strategies
  • Propose brand activities and measurable objectives
  • Manage segment marketing budgets and expenditures
  • Work in partnership with all agencies on record to deliver against Samsung specific marketing campaigns

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • This individual will be required to work with the Product Managers and Key Account Managers to ensure on-time and effective new product introduction / go-to-market.
  • Plan and execute advertising campaigns and strategies for the business unit; to ensure the best gains in market share (or stated KPI / goal).
  • Develop, implement, monitor systems and procedures necessary to smooth operation of the marketing functions
  • Plan media, PR, IM and Digital Marketing in collaboration with brand teams as part of go to market strategy
  • Plan all aspects with regards to new product launches, or sell-out initiatives with specific reference to specific products
  • Compile briefing documentation against set Samsung objectives
  • Tactical Marketing Planning
  • Customer and Consumer analysis

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Degree in Marketing /Or other related Fields
  • Minimum 5 years in Marketing team management experience
