Job Brief
On behalf of our client, we are seeking a shop attendant whose duty will be to ensure that products appear in the store at the appropriate time and in the correct quantities. This involves accurately forecasting needs, planning stock levels and monitoring stock performance.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure the shop is opened and closed on time during scheduled working hours.
- Amplify the impact of product visibility to consumers through proper display of products.
- Engage and proactively liaise with customers – Answer customer queries regarding products and recommend solutions based on customer needs.
- Review and check stock deliveries to ensure the inventory is correct and in good condition.
- Daily sales processing and reconciliation.
- Ensure the store is sufficiently stocked and carry out periodic stock takes.
- Ensure clear and proper labelling of products in the shop.
- Timely communication of client issues to the management.
Skills and Competencies
- Minimum diploma or certificate in sales management, retailing or any other related field of study.
- Prior experience in merchandising or being a shop attendant.
- Must possess outstanding communication skills
- Must be motivated, energetic, professional, courteous and organized.
