Duties & Responsibilities
- Support the HR Manager in rolling out of HR projects and initiatives for the country
- Effectively preside in disciplinary, grievance and performance hearing matters
- Maintain accurate disciplinary processes and records with effective calendar / diary entries
- Display a comprehensive understanding of labour legislation and ensure compliance
- Provide guidance and training to Supervisors on Industrial Relations related processes
- Maintain and manage appropriate Industrial Relations environment
- Custodian of all HR/IR policies and procedures
- Monitor compliance to all Industrial Relations and Human Resource related policies and processes
- Monitor and facilitate (where applicable) appeal/grievance hearings and or processes
- Handle employee queries
- Participate in development initiatives to build capability within the country
- Assist as and when required in filling of vacant positions and talent management initiatives
- Ensure efficient and cost-effective methodologies are used for resourcing employees
- Insist timely processing of payroll to ensure all employees are paid on time, correctly and attend to any pay queries.
- Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time

Qualifications
- Higher Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management or Relevant Qualification
- +3 years experience experience as an HR Generalist in a fast paced and labour-intensive sector or environment
- Knowledge and experience in the services industry an added advantage
- Knowledge of Time & Attendance Systems an added advantage
- Experience working with HRIMS an added advantage
- Member of the HRIM an added advantage
